How do you calculate rates?

Word count tells me how long the audio will be, and is used as a starting point. Other factors that affect the price are where the audio will be used and if any other services are needed

Can you sync with my video?

Short answer - yes! Long answer - there are many ways that audio/video syncing can go wrong with a premade video (ex: video segments are too long or too short for the written script). The best thing to do is to have the audio created first, and then have the video match up with the audio.

Can I have a sample?

Of Course! For short projects, I can provide a 15-30 second sample. For longer projects, I can provide up to a minute.

Can you fit my script in one minute?

Typically a one minute script is around 140-160 words. While I can read up to 180 words per minute, it will be VERY fast and doesn’t leave a lot of room to bring the script to life. Don’t forget to account for misleading word counts like: phone numbers (10 words not 1) and websites for example www.diamondvoiceover.com (9 words not 3)

How soon can I have my project?

Projects less than 1000 words can usually be delivered in 24-48 hours. If you're on a deadline, just let me know - I’ll see what I can do (in some instances, a rush fee may apply).

What is your revision policy?

If I mess up on the script - I’ll fix it no problem! I do my best to follow the style guidelines or reference material you send me, but if the style isn’t what you had in mind - let's figure it out! A directed session can be purchased If you have specific guidance about parts of the script. Let me know what your concerns are and let's talk!

I’ve trained myself to read the script exactly as written. Changes made to the script after recording, including grammatical errors, will incur a fee. Please make sure your script is well edited so you don’t have to purchase a re-record for a script change.
